Liù’s story

Liù was born in 1998. She was surrendered to the sanctuary by her “owners” who thought she was “bad”: she refused to let anyone ride her and it was not even easy to handle her on the ground. Liù had simply chosen to rebel against human lack of skills. She understood that she could scare them and that by doing so she did not have to do the stupid work they wanted her to do (work as a “saddle horse” for a little boy). Today she greets visitors by asking for cuddles and loves back scratches. She is a close friend of tiny Lola!
