We collaborate with schools and conduct guided tours specially designed for children of specific age groups. We aim at introducing the children to the animals we host, their species-specific needs, their individual character traits and personalities. Our goal is to encourage profound reflection, and respect for nature and all its inhabitants, by offering a meaningful encounter between the children and the animals.

What children (and adults alike) can learn at the sanctuary is that our relationship with nature should be based not on domination, but respect and love. We hope to raise the children’s awareness of nature, its inhabitants, and of the role we all play on this planet. At the sanctuary this awareness can grow, and lead to a more mature and conscious approach to life — a first step towards a future of living in peace with all beings.
