Ambra’s story

Ambra is a “cane di corso” who found her way to Ippoasi from Sicily thanks to activists who helped her find a better future. Her mother was used for breeding. Because of her congenital eye problem, Ambra was poisoned and abandoned. She eventually was found in a landfill and brought to safety. Now Ambra lives at the shelter and has become Desmond’s new best friend.
