The rabbits arrived in the spring of 2017, after having been saved by someone who then left them in the chicken enclosure during the night, females together with males. Ippoasi was not equipped to host rabbits. This irresponsible action put the the association and the volunteers in difficulty as great expenses for sterilisation as well as building a rabbit enclosure had to be faced. Thanks to the valuable financial support of sensitive people and the tenacity of volunteers, the rabbits can now enjoy a wonderful life in a huge enclosure.

Basilico, Rosmarino & Timo are the three male rabbits, but they all live together with their female friends Salvia & Menta. Most of their time they spend running around in the enclosure, nibbling on vegetables and looking adorable.
