Michelina’s story
Michelina was born on 20th April 2012. When she was almost one year, the breeding farm where she used to live was confiscated and Michelina seemed to be safe from a cruel fate. She was given to a person who showed himself to be a merchant, as he sold her to another farmer. As soon as the activist who was following her case realized what had happened, she did everything she could to save her, and this is how Michelina arrived at Ippoasi in October 2013. It is quite likely that she suffers from rickets which is why she is so small. She’s very cuddly and she’s Lorenzone’s best friend!
